| Most of the pieces on this |
| page are are quite recent, |
| and they are all among my |
| personal favorites. |
| They all deal in one way or |
| another with associations, |
| and the connections we form |
| with images and words |
| to create our own stories. |
| The three small square |
| shadow boxes are called |
| question and answer boxes, |
| and the viewer may supply |
| both the question and the |
| answer, according to the |
| associations suggested |
| by the various elements. |
| The three box pieces at the |
| bottom of the page were |
| created in the same spirit. |
| I think of them as "haiku |
| starter kits", providing |
| intriguing objects to |
| stimulate the imagination - |
| all you need to write your |
| own haikus. They're almost |
| games, in which you can |
| start at any point and move |
| in any direction, creating |
| a different story each time. |
