| The first thing
I should tell you |
| about
these little assemblages |
| is
that they don't exist. |
| They
were created by arranging |
| scraps
of rusted metal, old tools |
| and
miscellaneous small objects |
| on
my scanner. The effect is |
| quite
different from that achieved |
| with
a photograph. I had fun |
| reusing
pieces, sometimes |
| turned
over to show the reverse |
|
side, in the creation of other |
| creatures.
In the process I think |
| I
may have come across some |
| hitherto
unknown species. |

| I'm
currently incorporating them |
| into
a handsewn and bound book. |
