My love affair with
letter forms led me to
create the alphabet and
number series, based
on Goudy Oldstyle.
I wanted to reduce
the characters to their
essence by showing
only the small section
that reveals the whole.
The backgrounds
are collages of found
and prepared papers
from my collection,
with cameo appearances
by Kurt Schwitters
and Albert Einstein.
